The primary responsibility of this position is to provide Prudential Retirement support, education and expertise to the employees of a large defined contribution plan throughout the state of Washington on a daily basis. The candidate selected will be responsible to develop a set schedule at the facilities throughout the state
Ability to develop strategic relationships at Centers of Influence within their assigned territory.
Work with Communication Directors, Relationship Managers & Client Service Reps and/or client to deliver specific strategies including presentations which meet the individual needs of each employee group.
Ability to perform effective presentations.
Is an effective presenter to diverse groups with varied financial backgrounds
Is versed in defined contribution plans and the advantages of each plan in regard to retirement savings.
Is knowledgeable concerning asset allocation and diversification concepts.
Possesses a comprehensive knowledge of mutual funds/separate accounts, and also maintains an understanding of the risk/reward trade off for all securities and a willingness to review and communicate the objectives of all mutual funds that participate in Prudential's plans
Skills
Minimum of 3-5 years of financial services industry experience (primarily in the retirement market)
Sales experience preferred
FINRA Series 6 & 63 and State Insurance licenses required
Strong presentation skills
Ability to work independently
Spanish speaking is a plus
Results oriented
Proven ability to meet or exceed goals
This position is located (preferably) in Seattle, Washington.
