Role Responsibilities will include
The successful candidate will:
5-10 yrs experience
Work within a client-specific team based on-site at the client, managing day to day interaction with the client during the life of specific projects and assigned work
Manage the workflow process including the tasking of junior analysts and our India based data centre
Carry out face-to-face interviews with key staff at the client as part of regular intelligence gathering and/or project work
Prepare write-ups of the interview output and verifying intelligence that has been gathered using a variety of research tools such as Bloomberg, Google etc.
Work with clients to scope targeted and specific projects and studies that they may request. Your role includes setting project scope, identifying means of intelligence gathering, gathering the information required through interviews with the client and other means, and preparation and presentation of the results of our analysis to senior managers at the client
Play an active part in the company as a whole including assisting in the training and development of junior analysts, and input and ideas on the company’s future growth, including development of new products and services, and seeking opportunities to maximise revenue
Required Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will have:
SALES & TRADING EXPERIENCE A MUST!
Competitive analysis/intelligence experience a must
Excellent qualitative skills and the ability to prepare well-edited, well presented reports and market commentary
an analytical mind and an ability to work with significant amounts of data, both numerical and qualitative
A strong academic background – this will typically be a degree classification of at least 2:1 or, in the absence of this, demonstration of compelling alternative qualification or experience
Excellent interpersonal skills including experience of presenting to senior staff at clients
A track record of delivery on projects
The ability to work as part of, and take a lead within, a team
Strong report writing skills and the ability to present complex concepts simply and persuasively
A core background in investment banking (ideally capital markets) or consultancy (with a focus on financial service) likely to be gained over at least 4 years
In depth knowledge of the products used in Financial Markets
